Overview:
While in Portugal on business, I was in dire need of some “comfort” food. While I normally make attempts to visit “authentic” places when in another country, I had been out of the country for almost 2 weeks and really wanted to just unwind a bit.
Chris’ Opinion:
This place is great. It’s a bit loud and busy, but there is a very nice layout with lots of little nooks to relax and sit by yourself or chat with some locals. I ended up moving outside as it was just too nice of a day to be stuck inside the whole time. The food was terrific. The Thai Curry chicken was fully on-point and was very reasonably priced. The beer selection was on-par with most of Lisbon…not that awesome. They had two “Irish” beers (Guinness and John Smith’s Extra Smooth) and then Sagres, a bit of a rough beer but still a great go-to in Portugal. The staff were all very friendly and were kind enough to relieve me of my poor attempts at Portuguese and just speak English with me.
